that we finally got round to creating the loop pack that many
of you have been demanding - enter Power Ballad Drum Loops V1.
This is our first drum loop pack recorded on our beautiful Mapex
M Birch drum kit and the sound is everything we'd hoped it would

November 2007 - New Loop Pack

After much pressure from our customers we finally got round to
completing this long awaited Heavy Metal drum loop pack entitled
"Ultra Metal Drums V1".
These intense metal drum loops were recorded live at our newly
constructed studio deep in the rain forests of British Columbia.
We used a brand new Premiere APK Cabria Drum Kit with Sabian and
Zildjian cymbals and a Pearl double kick pedal.

These beautifully melodic acoustic guitar riffs were expertly
played using a new Washburn 12 String Jumbo acoustic guitar.
We recorded the performances into an AKG Solidtube Valve microphone
for a lush warm tone.

Platinumloops is proud to announce our new Version
4 web site with a totally revised interface, search function and shopping
cart system. It took a long time to put together
but we feel sure you'll be happy with the results.
In addition to the new look
website we've also made some major improvements with our file formats.
Platinumloops now offers all of our loops in the following file formats.
-
Acidized WAVE
- Apple Loops for Garageband and Logic
- Rex2 for Reason, Ableton, Cubase, Project 5 and many more.
All of our audio files are
44.1 kHz 16 bit.
The objective of the new site design is to allow users
to find the sounds they need as quickly as possible. You can navigate
to the sounds you need by using the detailed menu to the right of every
page or alternatively, type in whatever your looking for into the search
box at the top of any page and press go.
It's also very easy to view our entire loop pack catalogue
by clicking on the button at the top of the Right hand menu labeled
"View All Loop Packs", or just click
