This long awaited sequel to Metalcore Acoustic V1 brings you even more exquisitely moody guitar loops which were expertly performed on a Martin 12 string acoustic guitar and a 6 string made by Simon & Patrick. Meticulously recorded with a selection of vintage microphones, these guitar loops are dripping with lush melody and overflowing with cinematic atmosphere.

With 10 Metalcore song concepts fully stemmed out to give you 160 guitar loops this sample pack has everything you need to put together some deep, atmospheric acoustic guitar tracks that are ideal for many different types of metal or cinematic score production. We started with the main riffs and then layered a lead melody on top. Next we added a counter melodies and then some atmospheric touches like harmonics or the occasional dissonant chord.

With Metalcore Acoustic V2 we focused more on rhythmic riffs to create a hypnotic groove as a foundation for the more melodic counter melodies that sit on top and create that haunting atmosphere. Here is an example of a rhythmic groove (Rhythmic Groove) and here is an example of melody that works on top of that groove (Melodic Line). With this product you can layer up all of the stemmed out loops and mix these however you like. All of the audio was recorded at 24 bit, 44.1 kHz stereo with most of the guitars double tracked to give you that thick wall of sound. We also detuned the guitars for some of the concepts and used custom tuning systems to get that fat low end.

These guitar loops feature some grooves in 3/4, 5/4 and 6/8 time signatures as well as standard 4/4. All of the loops are completely dry and have no effects so that you can add your own FX and processing. The preview above features some reverb on the lead lines for demonstration purposes.
